WASHINGTON — Melania Trump shrugged off critics on Saturday by boarding Air Force One for her second tour of Hurricane Harvey damage — in high heels.
The first lady changed into sneakers on the plane to Texas, where she accompanied her husband in touring a relief center at Ellington Field in Houston.
Critics on social media poked fun at Trump after she departed earlier this week for her first tour of the soaked region wearing stilettos.

Aside from the practical dimension of sporting heels in a flood zone, some critics said it was insensitive to make a fashion statement while visiting people who’ve lost everything.
Even so, both times Trump changed into more casual wear on the plane.
Some journalists said her Saturday attire was a clear message to critics.
